[pdftex] Scanned and searchable PDF?

Hello.

I scanned an old document.
Now, I have both:
- the scanned pages (raster files).
- the (approximate) text of each page (obtained through OCR).

I would like to combine both into a single PDF file. This file should 
display the scanned pages, but the search function should use the OCR text.

I have already seen such kind of PDF file, but I do not know how to 
build one myself. Could it be done using pdfTeX? (and how...)
