[pdftex] how to compile pdfetex 1.30.6 with Ubuntu Dapper

Hello:)

I compiled Pdfetex 1.30.6  on OSX (10.4) and I could install it,but
  I have problems to make the same thing with Ubuntu Dapper beta 2,
  because all the tools are not installed.
Which are the tools and the librairies necessary.

  Can you help me ?

With Dapper, we have teTeX 3 and

  pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.21a-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.4)
