[pdftex] numbered presentation structure

Hi there,
I have a great problem. I want to create a script and have problems with the table of contents. It is not possible to use commands like \chapter etc. As a consequence, I see no chance to create a numbered (!) list of contents that works dynamically. Can someone help me and send me an example code-file that solves this issue?
