[pdftex] create stream object from more than one source

Hi List,

I would like to create a PDF stream object from more than one source
(e. g. string + file). With pdfmarks this can be achieved this way:

[ /_objdef {myStreamObj} /type/stream /OBJ pdfmark
[ {myStreamObj} (Hello World!) /PUT pdfmark
[ {myStreamObj} (file.txt) (r) file /PUT pdfmark

Is this possible with pdfTeX too? And If so, how?
If not, couldn't it be put to the list of features to be added?
