[pdftex] Damaged PNG

Hello again,

So I captured my first snapshots, wrote my first document,
and the embedded PNG does not look too good. I have attached
both the PNG I am embedding and a bitmap snapshot of what it
looks like once inside the PDF, in which I have highlighted
the damage. The LaTeX code is just

   \includegraphics[scale=1.]{gauge}

which should not distort. Any idea?
