[pdftex] pdftex and DOI

Hi all,

does anybody know how I can manage pdflatex to print the DOI 
informations correctly?
.. JMC 2001. 44, 1483–1490.
doi:10.1021/jm0002634

and not:

.. JMC 2001. 44, 1483–1490.
doi:\bibinfo{doi}{10.1021/jm0002634}.

Or does anybody know how to resolve the \bibinfo entries automatically 
for pdftex?
