[pdftex] Listoftables and Listoffigures

Hi,
How can I put a List of Tables and a List of Figures on the same page? (I dont want to mix them in one list, just put separate lists in the same page). I´ve already tried some tricks without success. It seems that there is an internal \newpage command inside \listoftables command.
