[pdftex] pdf(La)TeX logo copyright

(pdf)(La)TeX.

Originally, the American Mathematical Society held the copyright on
the TeX logo, and Addison Wesley that of METAFONT (see the inside
cover of The TeXbook).  However, a search at the US Patent Office
Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) shows that the TeX logo
trademark was abandoned by the AMS on 7-May-1985. The METAFONT
trademark is listed as abandoned on 13-Sep-1993 by Addison Wesley.

The LaTeX logo does not appear to have been trademarked.
