[pdftex] Omega status/OpenType in pdfTeX

If you have a Mac OS X system, you might want to look at an
alternative: XeTeX:

	http://scripts.sil.org/xetex

This is a completely independent extension of TeX to support Unicode,
and relies on the platform-specific libraries to provide typesetting
of individual words.  

There will be a paper in the Practical TeX 2005 proceedings by its
author, Jonathan Kew, but there is already another article from the
recent Unicode conference here:
