hi.

Acrobat Reader 7.0 features a new capability to Comment on files sent
for review from Acrobat 7.0 Pro.

does anyone know if or how to cause pdfTeX to turn on the "Allow
Commenting" switch? Is it even possible? or has Adobe locked this
capability up? note that according to Adobe, *only* Acrobat 7.0
Professional can send files for review.

for background, in Acrobat 7.0, PDF documents with commenting turned on
have a new "Security" field:

	Commenting: Allowed

Acrobat Reader 7.0 will then allow recipients to mark-up and comment on
a file (previously only available in Acrobat Standard or Pro), and then
send their marked-up copy back to the originator--- where it asks if
you want to merge the comments (whether in Reader or Pro).
Understandably, this greatly aids review cycles, as you don't have to
involve paper, file conversions, fonts, etc. also, i've found it quite
convenient.

so, can pdfTeX turn on the "Allow Commenting" switch?

have a nice day.yad
