that's strange because spot colors are never shows on the screen (unless in the 
full version in proof colors mode) but the associated rgb/cmyk/gray spec is used 
for display purposes

seems like a viewer problem (if you use ghostscript, that one didn't have proper 
DeviceN / Separation color space support until recently)
