[pdftex] pdfetex can't find map files

i will update that one as soon as i'm sure that the new tex's are around (the 
same is done with support for new pdf features: i don't want to risk old-tex 
new-context problems); the changes in font locations are in this respect a bit 
of a problem because a 'new manual' would not match an 'old tex' and vise versa.

normally just to unzip the cont-tmf.zip file in the local tree, run mktexlsr, 
and regenerate the formats with either texexec or fmtutil;

only path changes may interfere (in the past for instance the addition of base 
paths in the metapost tree, and now the move of map/enc/script files and changes 
in pdftex configurations to another locations) but these will disappear as soon 
as new tetex's and texlives are all over the tex world .. the price of progress
