[pdftex] Hyperref

Hi,
      With pdflatex, one can create hyperlinks using \url{} or \href{}. I 
was wondering if a similar thing is possible for e-mail? May be something 
like

\email{E-mail id} OR \email{E-mail id}{Text}

which when clicked on will pop up an e-mail client just like a web page 
opens up in web browser when clicked on URL specified as \url{URL}.
