[pdftex] dropping.sty

good day to you all,

i started using pdflatex instead of latex recently, so forgive
me if i sound stupid.

i know that not all packages play nice w/pdflatex, is there
a list of these packages somewhere?

i wanted to try dropping.sty but it doesnt work w/pdflatex.
anybody knows how can i make a dropping in pdflatex?
