[pdftex] Building pdfTeX 1.11b fails

Hi,

while building pdfTeX 1.11b tie fails to generate the file pdftex.ch 
with the following message:

(Pardon me, but I think I spotted something wrong..)

The generation of pdftex.web works without problems. Build environment: 
SuSE Linux 8.1 with gcc 3.2.
