[pdftex] pdflatex 1.11b crashes

What Windows Version, Service Pack, ...
There is a list on the Miktex page as well as a file that usually
comes with every binary concerning Windows Versions and
troubleshooting.
Maybe you want to check that out first.
Is this the 1st time you experiencing trouble with your OS?(What makes
you think of bad memory?)
