[pdftex] pdflatex compile option?

Just read the pdftex manual. It tells you all about map files.
With tetex and TeXLive it is pretty easy to embed all fonts:

   updmap --setoption pdftexDownloadBase14 true

MikTeX has a program called MkFntMap, which should be similar
to updmap.
