really?  none of the publicity material i've seen has failed to
acknowledge the use of knuth's algorithms.  not that i go out looking
for it any more...

theoretical computer science?  it's what he does, you know.  (rather
well, in fact, afaict.)

the only book on which both leslie and i were credited for
contributions of macros, i got first mention, so he can't be _all_
that good as a macro writer ;-)
