[pdftex] MS Word hell, TeX heaven?

But everything is Microsoft-only! Just as .NET: interesting technology,
but Microsoft only. That's why I prefer to work with the CORBA standards,
which are truely portable and independent.

So, platform and manufacturing independence is a big advantage of TeX
based tools.
