[pdftex] pdfannotlink error on Debian

Hi,

I have run into a frustrating problem when creating PDF's from  .tex
files.

My box is running Debian unstable, and the version of pdftex is:

pdfTeX (Web2C 7.3.7) 3.14159-1.00a-pretest-20011114-ojmw
kpathsea version 3.3.7

I would be grateful if anyone could resolve this issue for me. I have
read archives and searched the web to no solution. pdflatex runs fine on
a Redhat box with the exact same file. On the debian box, I have
installed the .debs for :

tetex-base				
tetex-bin					
tetex-doc					
tetex-extra		
texinfo
