[pdftex] Increased resolution

PDF output normally only contains outline fonts, so
there is no implicit resolution in there. Rasterizing is
done in the printer.

Maybe you can explain what you mean? If you have pdftex
output containing bitmap fonts at a fixed resolution,
you are very likely doing something wrong
