[pdftex] Pls explain to me: Warning: pdflatex (file f7b6d320.enc): cannot open encoding file for reading

Hello,

Thanks, but I don't get.

Should  f7b6d320.enc  be somewhere? I can't find it.
Should I produce it somehow?
btw: which permission do I need.
The entire dir /usr/share/texmf seems to be:
 >>>> drwxr-xr-x    4 root     root
(I am not the root).

Pls, help.

ps. On my server,  /usr/share/texmf contains:

aliases    context   etex      ls-R       mft      pdvips  texconfig
bibtex     doc      fontname  makeindex  omega    ptex    updates.dat
ChangeLog    dvipdfm  fonts     metafont   pdfetex  source  web2c
Changes.txt  dvips    jbibtex   metapost   pdftex   tex     xdvi;

/usr/share/texmf/dvips/ contains:
base  bluesky  config  gsftopk  misc  psfrag  pstricks  xypic
