[pdftex] Italics and Bold

It works for me with tex and pdftex.

Unfortunately not with Computer Modern fonts.  Suppose there would be
a bold italic font in CM, then the following file should work:

\font\bi=cmbi10

{\it {\bf Ar}ea Es{\bf t}imation}

{\it {\bi Ar}ea Es{\bi t}imation}
