I believe that last should've been ``Acrobat 5''?

Another option is to get a full version of Adobe Acrobat and Enfocus 
PitStop.

FWIW, I looked at the file in question and had the following concerns:

  - RGB graphics---is this a colour or b/w book? If colour, are you 
setting up your colourspace properly so things will separate in synch 
w/ the calibration of the printer? Graphics resolution is kind of low 
too.

  - file size---Typically, printers prefer that a text be broken up by 
chapters or signatures---doing this would help your download issues as 
well. See the GPO Style Manual I have listed at 
http://members.aol.com/willadams/books-free-type.html for an example of 
a nice way to do this for on-line work.

On the bright side, you seem to have all the fonts embedded, which is 
the biggest concern, so all should go okay.
