[pdftex] Image inclusion problem

Hi,

I'm fairly new to pdftex trying to convert from Distiller and Postscript
alltogether. I do have trouble including images files. I have this simple
test file

and whatever I try to do (using various figure files, different package
options,  etc) I constantly get
