| You can use a smaller file to reproduce the problem:

| That's what I can confirm:

| This problem can be reproduced with gs 7.04 and newer. Versions up
| to 7.03 do not have this problem.
FWIW, I can't reproduce this with gs 7.04. However, my pdftex is
somewhat older:
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-1.00b-pretest-20020211-HO20020731 (Web2C 7.3.7)
