[pdftex] acrobat reader "insert" and pdflatex

Hello!


I have prepared a nice working paper with pdflatex within linux,
including some figures in pdf format. Our data person would like to
insert the title pages of our institute at the beginning of the
document, using acrobat reader and "insert".  She tells me that the
merge command is unsuccessful.  Is there a way around that problem?
