this version will not print on all printers, due to problems with embedded 
type 3 fonts (some 8 pages); the version that was used to produce the 
tugboat is available at our web site (currently www.pragma-pod.nl -> pdftex)

the second version has the problematic pages replaced by 600 dpi bitmaps.
