[pdftex] installation question

hi,

I am in the process of installing pdftex-linux-20010417 in order to
replace the one I have received with SuSE Linux 7.3.
In the zip-file I find an executable pdftosrc which I do not find in the
current installation. Where should this file be moved to? To the same
directory as the pdftex/pdfetex executables? Do I need it?
