I provide e.g. my lecture notes in mathematics
as pdf documents generated by pdfLaTeX.
Because lack of memory certain printers print
only the upper half of mathematical symbols.
Only when printed as images pages are printed
completely (but slowly).
Is there a way to warn users in case that only the
upper half of mathematical symbols will be printed?
Is it possible to set in pdfLaTeX 'print as image'
as print default for the very document?
How to determine memory requirements of a page?
I don't think so, but can compression help?
thanks for advise, Thomas
