    That depends on how you define the problem :-}

In the GNU Project, the problem is non-free software.  Our solution is
to replace it and reject it.

    The Free World seems to be very much hanging on the coat-tails 
    of the non-Free World when it comes to the development of Adobe.
    Basically, Adobe have us over a barrel.

That is unnecessrily pessimistic.  We have work to do, certainly, but
compared with replacing all of Unix it is not such a big job.
