Ok, instead of suppying a wrong psname, I prefer not to specify a name at
all,i.e. to use
  ptmr8r "TeXBase1Encoding ReEncodeFont" <8r.enc <utmr8a.pfb
instead of
  ptmr8r Times-RomanEmbed "TeXBase1Encoding ReEncodeFont" <8r.enc <utmr8a.pfb

What I'd like to have is several map files (some download the base14,
others not) and then decide via some new pdftex cmdline-option which
map file to use.
