[pdftex] Resolution

Hi All

I'm wondering if there is a simple command that will change (in 
particular, increase), the resolution of the distiller mechanism within 
pdftex. I'd like to be able to do this on a file by file basis without 
monkeying around with the config file (if that is an alternative).
