[pdftex] slides - templates?

I was wondering - making slides with pdfscreen - are there templates (or something
equivalent) like what is usually available under Powerpoint, so that its easier to
make slides, rather than building each slide from scratch with TeX? pdfscreen
definitely is very helpful already, no mistake there.
