[pdftex] links

I am trying to compile a conference proceedings using pdftex for
distribution on CD. In order to have small file size, i was planning to give
links for full paper viewing. Using \href{paper1.pdf}{Full Paper} i am able
to create a link, but such a link is not satisfactory. Is it possible to
view the full paper in new window, like we open a link in new window in a
browser using javascript window.open(paper1.pdf) ?
