[pdftex] AR 5 not working with pdftex?

i didn't test it with the new adobe products [since i don't even distiller
5 (yet)], but there were times that acrobat would export ps code that
distiller could not handle. Also, the pdf code produced by the photoshop 4
that i have on this machine, is definitely kind of non portable, maybe
pdf/x will solve these problems,
