Those from our site are the latest [well, not really, since the real latest
are in the beta archive] and they are mirrored at ctan.
I wonder if there is still a need for copies at other locations. Also keep
in mind, that some more advanced mp things are supported in mptopdf [which
you can use to create stand alone graphics]. More on that in the makempy
manual and the metafun manual, both at our site.
