Very old, current is 0.14h with improved pdf import.

pdfTeX can use bitmaps in formats jpg or png directly.

I assume that Suse is used, so it will be at most 5.50.
Versions greater than 6.01 will be much better, because
they can convert eps files that use type1 fonts into
pdf files without converting the vector fonts to
unreadable bitmap fonts.
