[pdftex] Illustrator 9.0 files with pdflatex and graphicx?

well, the PDF export was rather bad before 9, so I've been used to
always export as EPS and run distiller. The AI-9 PDF are correctly
handled by pdftex, but I still prefer using distiller, it's safer imho.
