mptopdf comes with conTeXt.

fmtutil --byfmt mptopdf
( If fmtutil.cnf is not properly written, try the following:
  pdfetex --ini --efmt=mptopdf mptopdf \\dump
  mv mptopdf.efmt /usr/local/share/texmf/web2c )

mptopdf command:
cd /usr/local/bin
ln -s pdfetex mptopdf
