The latest version is 7.00.  See:

    ftp://mirror.cs.wisc.edu:/pub/mirrors/ghost/AFPL/gs700

Versions later than 6.01 are quite buggy, try ps2epsi.
Some of the bugs are fixed in 7.00, some aren't.  I didnt't test very
much yet, I installed it just some minutes ago.
