[pdftex] Creating a background.

Hi,

I am creating a pdf document using pdflatex. I have a graphic which I want to use as a background in the document.

If any one has any tips on how to do this, or knows of any websites with examples of this, I would be very grateful if they would let me know as soon as possible.
