One message might be a mistake, two is spam.  I deleted
"larryjones at shaw.ca" from the mailing list.  He/It subscribed via the
automatic process, so I marked further subscriptions to have to be
approved by a human (though I'm not sure I'd be able to tell that he
wasn't legitimate).

A similar thing happened on another tug.org mailing list recently.  How
depressing.
