[metapost] What are ways to understand the tables in the ttx file

And you are designing the glyphs with MetaPost?  Which post-processing
tools are you using?

I don't see the connection between TTX and MetaPost.  The former is a
disassembler/assembler for TrueType fonts, while the latter is a tool
for creating graphics in PostScript format (including glyphs).

To understand TTX output, you have to thoroughly read the OpenType
specification and possibly the CFF specification also.
