[metapost] mpost/metafont question

I'm new to mpost and LaTex.  I would like to know the meaning of \skip68,
\skip69 and \box29 being assigned to
these variables.    This information comes from a mpxerr.log file.

        \heightofcdot=\skip68
        \widthofcdot=\skip69
        \dotprodcircle=\box29
