[metapost] infont problem

In my setup, using the latest mptopdf didn't solve the problem.
Here's the tail of the output.

pdfetex: unrecognized option `-fmt=mptopdf'
Try `pdfetex --help' for more information.
pdfetex: unrecognized option `-fmt=mptopdf'
Try `pdfetex --help' for more information.

MPtoPDF 1.3 : test_lars_issues is converted to test_lars_issues-1.pdf +
test_lars_issues-2.pdf

Should I also upgrade pdfetex? I have:
This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-1.10b-2.1 (Web2C 7.4.5)
