That’s my problem. I tried a small example, and everything worked fine. But I have no idea where to look in the structure of my larger document
<div class="">to catch the problem. I don’t expect anyone else to look atmy whole document (in progress, but so far 18 pages of pdf when pictures are commented out, but also uses a lot of privately defined macros), but I was hoping for some suggestions as
to what kind of error to look for.</div>
<div class="">Most of my private macros simply define frequently used sets of symbols or phrases, for consistency. </div>
<div class="">I have one macro I have that uses the reference utilities (\ref, \pageref, \eqref) to format references; I checked it in my small example and it seems to present no problems. Other than that, I don’t know where to look.<br class="">
