[OS X TeX] TLU critical update failure

Howdy,

The problem doesn't seem to be with TeX Live Utililty (TLU) but rather the script it downloads to do the update. You can do the infrastructure update manually in a way that bypasses the problem by running the command

sudo tlmgr update --self

In Terminal and giving your admin password. Once that completes (you'll get a bunch of output on the screen and the prompt will come back) you'll be able to use TLU to complete the normal package updates.

Progress is being made to find and correct the problem in that downloaded script.
