Howdy,

For overriding some Key Bindings I usually create a Macro which just inserts the raw character: I have `Quoted' macros for ", ^, _, •, and { since Key Bindings substitutes ``|'', ^{|}, _{|}, \bullet and {|} (the | is the insertion point) for the (rare) occasion I need the raw character.
