[OS X TeX] TeXShop autosave cursor bug?

I have been experiencing this annoying behaviour of the TeXShop editor periodically sending the text cursor to the end of the file. It seems to be associated with some sort of autosave as the “- edited” message in title bar disappears at the same time.

Anyone else seen this?
